How does leveling of the machine work with the pedestal? I have an older house and my laundry room floor is somewhat sloped. Can I still level the machine if I’m mounting it on top of the pedestal?
It's super super easy. they provide the tool to adjust it. you just basically turn the front legs to either go up and or down.

is this pedestal WDP4R compatible with the WM2301HS ?

I purchased them for two reasons: One was to raise the height and reduce the need to bend since the doors on the machines are pretty low otherwise. Two was to be able to store my laundry chemicals in them. The door height for me with the pedestals is perfect. However, I am unable to fit even the standard size detergent bottles in the drawers. I gave these pedestals a low score for value because, for the price of them, all they are doing is raising the height of the washer and dryer. The only thing I currently store in them are extra cloths to wipe the water that remains on the gasket at the end of the wash cycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by franrb from Good purchase Purchased matching front loader washer & dryer last April. Did not buy the matching pedestals as thought I would not need them. Found out bending down to take clothes out of the washer isn't easy and wiping down the rubber gasket inside makes it difficult without the pedestal. I wish that the depth of the pedestals was deeper so detergent bottles would fit standing up instead of laying down. You can store many things in the pedestals which is convenient. All in all, I find it so much easier to do laundry with the pedestals than without. I did try to buy pedestals from an outlet but they did not fit and installing them properly is important. I am satisfied with my purchase, but wish the cost was less.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Marc33 from Quality good, practical...not so much. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Detergent/softener doesn't fit in the pedestal. You would think with the overwhelming amount of comments about this that you would make them 2 inches taller eventually. It's not a deal breaker for me (granted this is probably why they haven't listened to people...we keep buying them without changes), as I can find smaller containers of some sort to put the detergent into that will be short enough to fit. I've got a 13 year old set of Frigidaire's in my farm shop that you can fit laundry soaps in, and even rolls of paper towels standing on end. If they could figure that out over a decade ago it can't be that hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pkingpin from A MUST have item! I was reluctant to order these pedestals for our new washer and dryer mostly due to the cost. They really should cost about half of what they do. In any event, I HIGHLY recommend these! They bring the units up to the perfect level for loading and unloading. The units bolt right to these making them super sturdy! There is plenty of storage space and while you cant store most detergent bottles upright, you can store them at a skight angle. Do yourself a favor and add these to your order!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sparkland from Pedestals raise my LG washer/dryer to new heights My wife had knee surgery and I did not realize how difficult and painful it was for her to remove the laundry from the front loading washer. I found one of these pedestals on the discount rack at another big box store, so I completed the set with this unit from Lowe's. My wife was so happy when I brought the pedestals home and installed them. Her laundry detergent bottles fit upright in the pedestals which are higher than the ones we had previously on an older model. Please do not hesitate to purchase this set. They are wonderful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheryl60 from Needs improvement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that the storage drawer raises the washer and dryer up to a comfortable level for loading/unloading BUT the really disappointing part is that the drawer isn't deep enough to hold a standard bottle of laundry detergent without putting it on its side so I have a storage drawer and have my detergent sitting on the floor next to the storage drawer, not good! Major design flaw as the drawer just needs to be a little deeper to accommodate this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JL from Not big enough, doesn't fit detergent bottles We purchased new washer/dryer and thought that it would be nice to store the detergents underneath as you would otherwise be reaching up high to get it from the cabinets. Not a single bottle of detergent that we had would fit and allow the drawers to close. Every single bottle (soap, bleach, softener, etc.) was too tall. There wasn't a single one that would allow it to close. You would have to specifically have to purchase the smaller bottles and if you are getting this size of machine(s) then you're going to be using more than that amount of soap. The pedestals are pretty and keep me from having to bend over as far, but after paying more than $550 for the pair, and not being able to fit a single bottle of soap in it, I am beyond mad.

In addition to raising the machines so it's easier to load and unload, they act as drawer space. The space isn't very tall, so larger containers will need to be stored on their side. (Make sure that cap is on tight.) The inside is plastic, so if there any mishaps, cleaning it up should be a breeze. I don't have shelves in my laundry room, so this keeps the detergent and fabric softener off the floor and out of sight reducing unnecessary clutter and tidy looking.
